Delta Professional Services (DPS) is a premier instruction services company serving Delta Air Lines and other clients by providing supplemental instructors for flight simulators and training device instruction.
Position: Non-Seniority List Instructor (NSLI)
- Part-time position dedicated to delivering a top-tier training experience to 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier pilots in Flight Training Devices and Flight Simulators for Delta Air Lines or external DPS clients.

Schedules
- Flexible scheduling options
- Availability required during nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work at non-Atlanta off-site training locations when needed
- Scheduled for approximately 10-12 training events per month
Responsibilities & Skills
- Understand airline pilot roles, including Pilot in Command and Second in Command duties, professionalism, leadership, decision-making, Crew Resource Management, and Threat and Error Management.
- Communicate effectively and lead interactive discussions, adhering to curricula and managing training resources.
- Assess and evaluate pilot performance and student capabilities during all flight phases.
- Solicit feedback and maintain customer service excellence.
- Starting pay is $62.11/hr, increasing to $74.54/hr after 4 months, with additional incentive pay for late-night, weekend, holiday work, and high-volume events.
Minimum Qualifications
- Familiarity with technology such as Apple iPad, MS PowerPoint, and accessing company information and schedules.
- Retirement from a 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier within the last 24 months (exceptions considered).
- Minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command at a 14 CFR Part 121 carrier.
- Experience as a pilot at a 14 CFR Part 121 carrier.
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with Multiengine Land rating.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Prioritize safety and embrace diversity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a flight simulator check airman or line check airman at a 14 CFR Part 121 carrier.
- Current pilot qualification for Delta Air Lines or other DPS clients.
- Aircraft Type Rating in aircraft operated by Delta or DPS clients.
