Compensation Pay Range$15.80 - $17.00The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include performance-based premiums, which can vary based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

The Delivery Specialist will operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and handling customer returns.

Essential Job Functions
  • Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
  • Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of vehicles, and complete daily inspections.
  • Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies.
  • Handle customer returns and complete driver return slips.
  • Communicate issues or needs to store management.
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damages immediately.
  • Ensure fuel tanks are filled, and vehicles are locked and secured at end of day.
  • Follow company clock-in/out policies.
  • Perform additional duties such as customer service, stock management, merchandising, errands, and core returns.
  • Assist customers, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

    Required:

    • Ability to match alphanumeric sequences quickly.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
    • Driving record meeting company standards (14/18-point system).
    • Valid state driver's license and compliance with driving requirements.

    Desired:

    • Familiarity with automotive parts.
    • Ability to operate light store equipment.
    • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish preferred).
