Delivery Driver - Ideal Clamp Products : Job Details

Delivers packages or products according to the scheduled route. Follows designated schedule and seeks efficient travel routes. Scans or records packages and maintains documentation of deliveries. Conducts routine vehicle inspections and schedules repairs on vehicles as needed. Follows all DOT and company regulations to operate safely.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).* May perform other related duties as assigned.* Follow the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck* Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries* Meeting delivery deadlines* Performing basic truck maintenance* Loading and unloading cargo* Tracking shipments and deliveries* Obtaining client or customer signatures when neededJOB REQUIREMENTS:* Clean driving record* Valid and current driver's license and requires a Class B - CDL.* Professional communication* Excellent customer service skills* Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations* Excellent organizational and time management skills* Follow delivery schedules and routesEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.* Requires a Valid Driver's License.* Requires a Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class B.* Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.* Must have reliable transportation.Hourly Rate: $22.00 per hour and may include shift differential depending on your shift.WORKING HOURS:First Shift - 5:00am to 5:00pm 5 days a week (End of work hours may vary)PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation as you will frequently and repetitively be required to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform work, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear.
