Summary of Position

The Dean, Student Services directs and supervises all personnel and functions of the Student Services division, including admissions, records and registration; advising and enrollment services; evaluations and graduation; testing; and financial aid and veteran services, and assists in coordinating those services institution-wide.

Minimum Required Education

Master's Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education in student services, counseling, higher education administration, management, or applicable major from a regionally accredited institution of higher education is required. Doctorate is preferred.

Minimum Required Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience required in education and student services at the Dean, Associate Vice President or other level that documents comparable authority and experience is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Commitment to the philosophy of the comprehensive community college.

  • Commitment to the mission, purpose, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Central Texas College District.

  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrate competency with current office software and higher education student information systems.

Salary 1C/Per Salaried Pay Scale

Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thur 7:30-5:30 Fri 7:30-11:30
