At PwC, our deals team focuses on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximize value in their business deals.

In capital markets accounting advisory services at PwC, you will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting issues around deals (both public and private) and other transformational events impacting organizational value.

You will enhance your leadership skills by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality work. The Opportunity

As part of the Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services team, you will advise multinational, publicly-traded, and private equity clients on technical accounting, financial reporting, and capital markets topics. As a Manager, you will lead teams, manage client accounts, focus on strategic planning, and mentor junior staff. You will be responsible for project success and maintaining high standards. Your growing business knowledge will help identify opportunities contributing to PwC's success. Leading with integrity and embracing technology and innovation are core expectations.

Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • CPA License or equivalent certification in the candidate's home country; for international hires, the equivalent is required. Hires from PwC affiliates must meet the credential requirements for a PwC US manager.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience advising multinational companies on technical accounting
  • Experience with IPOs, debt offerings, private placements
  • Experience with acquisitions, alliances, post-deal accounting
  • Experience with restructurings, restatements, bankruptcies
  • Experience with GAAP conversions and complex accounting issues
  • Managing teams in a professional services environment
  • Innovating through technology
  • Working with large data sets and digitization tools
