About the Role:

As our Assistant Teacher, you'll play a huge part in shaping little minds through big love and endless curiosity. You'll support lead teachers in creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments where every child can thrive. This isn't your average job-it's a mission full of meaning (and giggles)!

What You'll Be Doing:

* Partnering with lead teachers to implement hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities

* Helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment

* Building trusting relationships with children and families

* Jumping in with diaper changes, mealtime routines, and classroom transitions

* Modeling patience, empathy, and curiosity-every single day!

* Singing songs, leading circle time, and celebrating each child's growth!

Must-Haves:

* A big heart for little learners

* High school diploma or GED

* Open to the idea or willing to complete, or already enrolled in CDA or early childhood education coursework

* Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

* Team player vibes with a go-with-the-flow attitude

* Dependability, positivity, and energy that can't be contained!

Bonus Points if You Have:

* Previous experience in an early childhood setting

* CPR/First Aid certification

* Knowledge of Indiana Early Learning Foundations
