Daycare Aides @ Learning Ladder - Capital District YMCA : Job Details

We are looking for dynamic individuals to lead early learning programs at our Learning Ladder Daycare Program. These early learning childcare positions support the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening our community. These roles help to create a positive learning environment, nurture relationships, and support the potential of all children at site as part of the overall daycare experience.

CURRENT OPENING:

Two (2) Daycare Aides

* 1 Mid-day shift

* 1 Sub

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL DAYCARE POSITIONS:

* Day 1 of Employment: Completed Physical and TB Test (within the last year)

* Day 30 of Employment: Completed CPR, AED, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention

* Day 90 of Employment: Completed New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, NYS OCFS Health & Safety and ALICE (Active Shooter).

* Day 180 of Employment: Completed 15 hours of childcare related training (then 15 hours annually)

DAYCARE AIDE - $15.00 PER HOUR - SUPPORTS ASSISTANT & LEADER TEACHER WITH ASSIGNED CLASSROOM ACTIVITES.

REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): NYS Working Papers (Under 18 yrs. old), HS Diploma/GED, OR Resume (w/ALL childcare experience)

* Must be 16 years of age.

* HS Diploma/GED OR One (1) year of experience working with children under 13.

ALL EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIALS MUST BE UPLOADED IN DOCUMENTS SECTION OF YOUR PRESENCE (PROFILE) BEFORE AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT CAN BE EXTENDED.
