Day Shift Field Service Technician - MARTIN EQUIPMENT OF ILLINOIS : Job Details

Shop Technician Position: $33.00 - $39.00 / hour - Day Shift

• Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Service equipment to reduce unnecessary repairs.
• Conduct safety inspections.
• Repair customer and rental equipment in the shop.

Shop Technician Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience with AC/DC and hydraulic systems.
• High school diploma or GED (technical training a plus).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work hands-on daily.

Field Technician Position: $39.99 - $40.99 / hour - Day Shift

• Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections on diesel equipment.
• Travel daily to customer sites for field service.
• Operate and maintain a field service truck.
• Diagnose issues, request parts, and document service for invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations from the company, government, and equipment vendors.

Field Technician Requirements:

• 3-5 years of field or diesel tech experience.
• CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Servicing Douglas, Edgar, Coles, Clark, Cumberland, and Shelby counties (ideal candidates will reside in one of these areas).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
