Daviess-Martin County REMC is seeking a candidate for the position of Member Services Representative and Dispatch with responsibilities and qualifications as outlined. Daviess-Martin County REMC is an electric distribution cooperative with approximately 7,900 members (8,460 meters) with headquarters in Loogootee, Indiana. The facility is close to I-69 in southwestern Indiana. Loogootee is fifty miles southwest of Bloomington, Indiana, twenty miles north of Jaser, Indiana, thirty-five miles east of Vincennes, Indiana and twenty-eight miles west of Mitchell, Indiana. The beauty of nature abounds in the area, surrounded by forests and lakes. Boggs Park is within five miles of town and has camping, hiking, boating, and fishing. The Glendale Fish and Wildlife Area has one of the top fishing lakes in the state and is also a great camping, hunting, and hiking area. Patoka Lake is thirty-eight miles southeast of Loogootee and Lake Monroe is fifty-eight miles northeast. The Hoosier National Forest, Brown County State Park and other beautiful natural areas are within minutes of the headquarters facility. Location: Daviess-Martin County REMC Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt Reports To: Director of Finance & Administration Overview: Daviess-Martin County REMC is seeking a friendly and organized Member Service Representative/Dispatch to serve as the first point of contact for our members and support daily operations. This role combines customer service with dispatch responsibilities, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist members in person and over the phone
• Process service applications, account updates, and payments
• Support billing and collections processes
• Monitor and respond to outages using our Outage Management System
• Dispatch field personnel and maintain communication logs
• Assist with reporting, data entry, and coordination during storms

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of office procedures and computer systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
