Job Description

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 6 Months (extendable)

Interview Mode: To be specified

Responsibilities:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Networking, Datacom, and IP domain, with hands-on work on routers, switches, datacenter, or SDN/NFV as a Dev-tester, System Tester, or Software Developer Tester (SDET).
  • Proficiency in L2 Protocols: Ethernet, VLAN, spanning tree protocols, various Ethernet speeds, PPPoX, L2TP, LAG, LACP, Ethernet OAM, CFM, Ether channel.
  • Expertise in L2.5/L3.0 Protocol testing: RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, Carrier Ethernet, VPNs.
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson, Nokia-Alcatel, Brocade, Versa, or similar platforms, demonstrating testing expertise.
  • Mandatory skills in Test Automation using Python, with strong coding skills for scripting and development roles.
  • Experience with open source Automation Frameworks like ROBOT, Pytest, Pycharm, and in-house Python frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with test tools such as Spirent, IXIA, iPerf, Ostinato.
  • Ability to analyze design, develop test scripts, and automate test beds and equipment libraries.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans and protocols, debug issues, and document results.
  • Experience in customer-focused testing, pre-production lab setup, and test planning.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task, with a good understanding of testing processes and QA standards.
