Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize databases using AWS services such as RDS, EC2, S3, Data Pipeline, DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue, QuickSight, Document DB.
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards to support business intelligence needs.
  • Visualize and analyze data for actionable insights.
  • Work with ETL tools to design and execute data pipelines for integration and processing.
  • Implement and maintain data warehousing concepts and solutions.
  • Automate routine tasks using tools such as Jenkins, AWS Lambda, and Python.
  • Optimize and tune database performance to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Handle the day-to-day operations of backend databases, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (B.E. Computer preferred).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in database development and management.
  • Strong experience with at least one major database engine (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Proficiency in T-SQL/PL-SQL with the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Knowledge of database design principles, including normalization, constraints, and indexing strategies.
  • Experience in database performance tuning and query optimization.

Educational Qualification: BE/BTECH in Computer Science or Master's in Computer Science, or related field.

Years of Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud-based databases and their services.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight.
  • Experience working with large-scale databases in a production environment.
