This position reports to:

Value Chain Transformation Owner - Drive

Your role and responsibilities:

As the Data Transformation and Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for transforming business master and transactional data into proper datasets that can be used by cross functional resources to create BI reports. You will establish and own the governance of reporting template and documentation. You will also establish rules to highlight data quality issues and drive process improvements.

This position supports the Motion Drive Products division in New Berlin, WI.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Identify and create suitable data preparation solutions to be used for BI reports
• Establish rules and reports to identify critical master data and transactional data quality issues and drive improvements with various business process owners
• Create and maintain catalogue of dataset and actively communicate to the reporting community.
• Collaborate with cross function BI reporting resources to share best practice and continuous training needs
• Bring industry best practice to reporting community within business and grow jointly.
• Support continuous improvement effort with data analytics and insights.

Qualifications for the role:

• A Bachelor or higher degree in Information System, Engineering or Business Administration is required.
• 5+ years of working experience with data transformation and governance. Expert knowledge with SQL server scripting.
• Expert with SAP tables and data structure.
• Experience working cross functionally with Sales/Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Corporate functions with Data Governance.
• Proficient in English both spoken and written communication.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
