We're looking for a Data Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize SCADA systems that drive automation and efficiency across operations. What You'll Do

  • Design and deploy SCADA systems tailored to meet project requirements.
  • Develop user-friendly interfaces using Ignition Perspective and Vision.
  • Automate data collection, alarming, and reporting for real-time monitoring.
  • Connect to various data sources and equipment to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to integrate solutions into larger control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Document system designs, implementations, and troubleshooting procedures.

What You Bring

Required:

  • Experience designing and developing SCADA, HMI, or MES systems (Ignition preferred).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
  • Experience with network architecture for SCADA systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred (but not required!):

  • Ignition Core and/or Gold Certification.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley and Fanuc systems.
  • Familiarity with automation in manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with welding, forming, cutting, or rolling technologies.
