Do you want to lead and own complex projects of strategic importance, involving cross-functional teams, in support of the organization's overall analytics strategy?The CVS Loyalty Product Analytics team leverages analytical capabilities in conjunction with a deep product lifecycle understanding to enable a holistic engagement strategy for direct to consumer touchpoints (e.g., email, direct mail, call center, digital) with goal to increase retail sales and key adoption metrics. The team will work closely with cross functional partners such as Marketing, IT, Digital, and Product to inform Loyalty product strategy, and recommend benefit enhancements and designs. There could also be opportunities to own and execute E2E direct to consumer engagements. Specifically, the role will have:+ Access to cross functional team leadership to influence strategy and execution+ Access to real life experiment design that could reach 90M+ customers+ Access to multiple cloud-based and on-prem data environments (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, and Google Cloud Platform)+ Access to deeply understanding the economics of CVS Loyalty programs across multiple business units+ Ability to contribute innovative ideas for pilot/ test and learn conceptsThe team has an embedding operating model where there is no delineation between Analytics or Product; we are 1 team!You will work with people with shared values: collaboration, growth, ownership, and caring. A successful candidate will be an outside the box thinker and have extensive experience applying analytics to drive product development and/or growth, with the ability to quickly onboard to a complex project and stakeholder landscape.What You Will Do+ Consults with internal clients to identify opportunities to implement data science solutions to business problems at a basic level+ Demonstrates familiarity with most areas of mathematical analysis methods, statistical analyses, and predictive and descriptive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas.+ Demonstrates familiarity with strategy consulting concepts.+ Demonstrates familiarity with data engineering concepts.+ Works with manager and members of a single team.+ Presents recommendations to the manager of the team and other stakeholders including business, product, marketing, digital, and IT cross functional leadership teams.+ Collaborates with one or more business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics.+ Consults on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using a basic understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics.+ Acts as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions.+ Leads development of analytics solutions with low complexity and risk.+ Understands and recommends modeling techniques to data scientists.Location: NYC/Soho Hybrid schedule - 3 days a week, every other week. Must reside within a commutable distance.Required QualificationsMinimum 3 or more years total business experience1+ years of experience utilizing SQL and/or Python, R, Hadoop2 years of experience strategy consulting or on strategy teams in mid to large companies.2 years of business experience leading analyses and initiatives with track record of business impact.Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners.Preferred QualificationsHealthcare sector experience preferred.Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas.Experience extracting actionable insights from the analysis and interpreting outcomes of complex models to present to business audiences including technical, non-technical, and senior leadersStrong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources. EducationBachelor's degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience and 3 + years work experience or Graduate degree (e.g., MBA) and 2+ years of work experiencePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$82,915.00 - $175,100.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
