Responsibilities
- As a data scientist supporting a security client, prepare annual and monthly reports summarizing findings and lessons learned for leadership.
- Produce sophisticated analytic models, triage capabilities, and dashboard metrics for Continuous Evaluation and Vetting (CE/CV) Investigators using Commercial off the Shelf Software, combined with all CE/CV reportable information (polygraphs, eReport, walk-ins, referrals, Rap Back, DNI CE alerts, emails, and EAFR).
- Develop a dashboard capability for CE/CV Investigators to efficiently prioritize and assign triggers.
- Conduct text mining, data infrastructure, and data visualization work; develop a process to integrate security and risk management activities into the CE/CV development lifecycle following the Risk Management Framework.
- Work to ensure triggers and analyses support leadership decision-making and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data science, mathematics, or a scientific field
- Experience using COTS software for advanced statistical analysis and data visualization
- Experience with data mining
- Ability to write clearly and concisely
- Ability to develop, manipulate, and maintain databases
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in statistics, image science, remote sensing, earth science, or physical science, or 11+ years of experience in statistics, mathematics, image science, remote sensing, earth science, or physical science in lieu of a degree
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by location and the individuals education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, plus contract-specific factors. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date. Work Model
