Your Missions

Location: Lenexa, KS

Job Summary And Purpose

The Data Scientist, part of the Operational, Digital and AI team in Manufacturing, leverages data to drive business growth and innovation. This role is responsible for independently delivering data science/AI solutions for one of Ceva's biggest manufacturing sites. The role involves suggesting appropriate data science approaches, implementing them, and collaborating with other teams to ensure alignment, integration, and business understanding for successful implementation.

Responsibilities And Key Duties

  • Design and implement data solutions using machine learning, large language models, statistical modeling, data mining, and data visualization.
  • Generate insights and recommendations by analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable solutions.
  • Communicate findings effectively to various audiences, including senior management and business partners.
  • Establish best practices by following Data Science standards, including using Git, Jira, and deploying code on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments for data alignment and integration.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Technical / Functional Competencies

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and/or R, familiarity with data science tools and languages, knowledge of statistical modeling, and interest in data science topics.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field; Master's preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data science, analytics, or related roles. Strong communication, collaboration skills, and a passion for data and innovation. Willing to learn and adapt.

Physical Requirements: Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Working Conditions: Not specified.

Travel Required: Less than 10%; international travel may be required.
