SAIC is seeking a Data Scientist Associate to join our team in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets.

• Develop and implement machine learning models.

• Analyze data and create visualizations for actionable insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Support technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelors degree in Data Science or related degree and zero (0) or more years; Four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Skills:

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science or related field.

• Proficient in Python or R.

• Familiar with data analysis tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must possess an Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
