Location: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin

Work Arrangement: This position is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 4 days a week at our Sun Prairie, WI location.

Salary: The pay range for this intern position is between $18 and $27.00 per hour.

Your Responsibilities:

• Explore data to uncover insights that enhance underwriting and operational processes.
• Build and evaluate models, investigate new features, and work collaboratively with teams to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of deployment pipelines, ensuring models are robust, reproducible, and scalable.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code utilizing libraries such as pandas, numpy, pydantic, and FastAPI.
• Learn and apply modern ML tools and frameworks, including Transformers and MLflow.
• Stay curious—ask questions, seek feedback, and continuously enhance your skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficient in Python; capable of quickly learning new packages and programming concepts.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with essential data science libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and containerization tools like Docker.
• Knowledge of MLOps concepts including Git, CI/CD, and model lifecycle management.
• Understanding of model validation and monitoring methods.
• Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
• A genuine eagerness to learn and develop—both technically and professionally.

Compensation and Benefits:

We provide a competitive hourly wage as mentioned above.
