Pharma & Pharmacy Reporting Data Analyst Department: Data Services FLSA: Exempt Primary Function: This position is responsible for collection, aggregation, quality review, report delivery, and visual trending of pharmacy data to support Asembia's data programs and service solutions. This role requires a thorough understanding of the prescription journey, including NRx, NBRx, TRx data as well as dispense, status, inventory, patient demographic, and enhanced services reporting. The incumbent must work with pharmacies and cross-functional teams to ensure reports are delivered timely and accurately while also implementing automated solutions to optimize the speed and accuracy of data aggregation and trend analysis. Job Scope and Major Responsibilities:

  • Be the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned programs.
  • Review agreements, participation trackers, and historical reports to have a thorough understanding of pharmacy locations participating in the program, inbound and outbound reporting timelines, requirements of each report type.
  • Reach out to member pharmacies to gather missing data, clarify data inconsistencies, and offer technical assistance/expertise if necessary.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies using SQL or other statistical analysis software.
  • Ensure that Asembia's data reports meet program requirements and are delivered in a timely manner by making necessary changes to improve data accuracy.
  • Process daily/monthly/quarterly master data functions as assigned.
  • Provide ad hoc data analysis to internal and external parties as requested.
  • Append pharmacy data reports to the Asembia database using applicable data. rules to ensure quality of input through various stages of the data-loading process.
  • Communicate findings of data investigations and manage expectations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • The timely submission of accurate data to appropriate parties.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service for Asembia's customers - manufacturers and members' pharmacies.
  • Successful collaboration with other Asembia team members to attain a common goal.
  • Compliance with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations, as amended ( HIPAA ).
Performance Criteria: Performance in this role is measured by successful implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of data processes which lead to pharmaceutical program optimization. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in pharmacy data aggregation, pharmacy operations, or pharmacy analytics.
  • Must have expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and SQL.
  • Bachelor's degree and relevant education in software development, statistics, information science.
  • Expertise in PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Exemplary communication, organization, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Strong client-facing skills with experience presenting to C-suite.
  • Must be able to work onsite five days per week.
  • Comfortable in a face-paced environment with ability to manage multiple high priority projects and clients.
