Job Title: Data & Reporting Analyst - Claims & Contracts Location: Alpharette, GA 30009- Hybrid Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $80000-$120000 Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical professional with an actuarial or accounting background to join our team as a Data & Reporting Analyst. This role will focus on providing analytical support and actionable insights within the auto warranties, warranties, or claims industry, with an emphasis on large data set analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical, industry, and reporting expertise to support decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze claims data and contract data to identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
- Prepare and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Build and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with teams on contract or claims side analytics, ensuring accuracy and compliance in reporting.
- Support financial and operational analysis leveraging actuarial and accounting expertise.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in data management and reporting workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Actuarial or accounting background required.
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in auto warranties, warranty, claims, payments, or financial services industries.
- Proven experience handling large datasets and creating detailed reports.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Experience with Power BI for dashboarding and recurring report automation.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present insights in a clear, concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
