The Data Quality Analyst (VP level) will play a pivotal role in coordinating the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data across Natixis CIB Americas businesses and in line with Head Office processes.
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing technical data quality frameworks, methodologies, and tools to enhance our data assets, re-using Head Office solutions where possible. The Data Quality Analyst will collaborate with the businesses to identify data quality issues, design solutions, and promote best practices in data management.
He/she/they will have the following responsibilities:
Framework Development: Design and implement a comprehensive technical data quality framework that includes data profiling, data validation, data cleansing, and monitoring processes, leveraging head office approaches.Data Quality Tools: Evaluate, select, and manage data quality tools and technologies that facilitate automated assessments and remediation.Issue Resolution: Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop remediation plans.Data Quality Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics, providing regular reports on data quality status and improvements.Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams across the Americas and Head Office to ensure alignment on data quality initiatives and standards.Technical Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining detailed documentation of data quality processes, data lineage, and metadata.Training and Support: Provide training on data quality best practices, tools, and methodologies to foster data stewardship.Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends and technologies to enhance data quality capabilities.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or related field.5+ years of experience in data quality management, data engineering, or related technical fields, preferably in financial services.Experience with IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) suite and Power Center; experience with alternative solutions is welcomed.Deep knowledge of data quality processes, measurement techniques, and business cases, including profiling, cleansing, standardization, and match/merge.Experience implementing Informatica's Data Quality components (rules, glossaries, scorecards).Natixis is an equal opportunity employer committed to a workplace free of discrimination.
