Our client, a well-known electric vehicle company is urgently looking to hire a Data Quality Analyst to join their team onsite in Irvine, CA.
**This is a 6+ month contract on W2 offering a full benefits package with the potential to extend or convert**
THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Overdue Ticket Management: Identify, track, and drive closure of overdue DVP tickets, partnering with engineering, validation, and quality stakeholders as needed.
- Data Hygiene: Audit critical DVP fields for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, resolving gaps and working with responsible owners to update records.
- Linkage Mapping: Establish and verify upstream and downstream linkages (e.g., requirements, test results, defect tickets) within DVP tickets to ensure traceability.
- System Documentation: Create clear, user-friendly documentation outlining system workflows, critical field definitions, and linkage practices.
- Training Content Development: Develop and deliver a structured training course to onboard validation, quality, and engineering users on updated DVP practices.
- Transition Planning: Prepare a transition plan and checklist to enable internal teams to sustain DVP hygiene and reporting post-engagement.
- Reporting: Provide weekly progress updates on overdue tickets, data hygiene metrics, and linkage completion rates.
- Outcome: Contractors will deliver a full JIRA DVP systems cleanup across R1, R2, and EDV, ensuring all records are current, complete, and linked to valid test cases and program gates, with traceability gaps identified and redlined. A before/after delta summary will quantify improvements. Within the 6-month engagement, clear milestones will be set to drive system documentation, troubleshooting playbooks, audit templates, and escalation paths, culminating in a comprehensive maintenance and transition plan with a formal handoff to validation leadership. In partnership with PD Systems, contractors will complete JIRA configuration documentation and develop role-based training materials, delivering live and recorded sessions with tracked completion to enable team readiness and sustainment post-engagement.
THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 3+ years using MS Excel, SQL, Python, Jira and Atlassian Products
- Experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing Product Lifecycle Management departments
- Experience working with engineering leads to establish acceptance criteria for development work and user acceptance testing efforts
- Be comfortable with database queries to measure performance KPIs and evaluate experiments
- Experience with ReactJS, GraphQL and web development is a plus
- Experience with Figma, Lucid and any other design tool is a plus
