Job Title: Data Modeler Job Location: Columbus, OH (100% Onsite - local only, no relocation) # Positions: 1 Employment Type: FTE Key Technology: Excel, Visio, MySQL, Python, Oracle, Big Query, Talend, Power BI, Axonius Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data models that aid the understanding of critical data streams
• Work closely with cybersecurity experts and data scientists to ensure our global data architecture supports and enhances our cybersecurity measures
• Design, implementation, and/or management of comprehensive data models to support data management objectives.
• Analyze and translate business needs into long-term data model solutions.
• Evaluate and improve existing data structure to enhance data value and identify targets for risk reduction.
• Work with cybersecurity analysts to integrate security measures into data models.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 3-10 years of experience
• Experience with data modeling tools such as: Excel, Visio, MySQL, Python, Oracle, Big Query, Talend, Power BI, Axonius.
• Proven experience in data modeling, data architecture, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of database structure principles and data modeling standards.
• Understanding of PowerBI
• Able to flag, troubleshoot and work in data lakes
• Know how to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
• Able to learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder
• Able to take a broad view when approaching issues; using a global lens

Desired: Experience with Irwin Education: Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
