Job Overview The Data Governance Management Office (DGMO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving an enterprise data governance framework to increase coordination and consistency across enterprise domains, establish a shared understanding of critical data assets, and improve AltaMed's ability to make data-informed decisions using quality, trusted data & insights. The Data Governance (DG) Analyst will facilitate and manage data governance initiatives, develop data standards, policies, and procedures, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to promote best practices (data classification, lineage, lifecycle management). This role involves convening cross-functional groups to understand and document data requirements, flows, and usage, and supporting the implementation of an enterprise data governance roadmap in collaboration with technical teams. Success in this role requires a blend of business acumen, problem-solving skills, data governance knowledge, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key success factors include comfort with ambiguity, curiosity, willingness to learn, and relationship-building skills. The role also involves analyzing and measuring data governance inputs, requiring some proficiency with data analysis and data quality techniques. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, public health, mathematics, finance, or a related field, with relevant professional and technical experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience in data management, analytics, product management, consulting, or relevant work. Experience with project management techniques, including cross-functional coordination, work plan development, and requirements gathering. Healthcare experience (payer, provider, vendor) is preferred. Proven ability to facilitate effective meetings across staff and leadership. Experience with data governance tools and platforms is highly preferred. Experience in healthcare analytics, data strategy, business strategy, or clinical administration is a plus. Familiarity with product management & agile delivery principles (e.g., SAFe) is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
