About the job Data Entry Manager Full Description: Are you a data entry specialist with an interest in interior design? We are looking for someone to perform data entry tasks for our home decor websites. You will be responsible for ensuring that the product information displayed on our sites is accurate, consistent and complete. This is a work from home position with flexible hours. We are looking for candidates who can travel, as there will be some in-person training and occasional office meetings. We are an e-commerce company offering furniture and decor for all styles and budgets. We carry over 200 brands and offer over 250K products, but we are a small company with a dedicated team, where every employee has a direct impact on the success of the company. We are looking for someone who can work independently, but can also collaborate on tasks as needed. A flexible, get the job done mentality is crucial. Job Summary: Perform daily data entry tasks. Review product images and descriptions. Assign style categories and colors to products Review new product pages for accuracy; edit existing product pages Work with other team members/departments to perform data entry tasks Communicate with outside vendors to obtain information when necessary Will be responsible for ensuring that product information displayed on our sites is accurate, consistent and complete Other duties as required by management Skills: Proven experience as a data entry clerk preferred. General knowledge of furniture styles, colors and attributes. Ability to type quickly; knowledge of touch typing system is preferred Excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.) Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices. Basic knowledge of databases Good command of English, both spoken and written, and customer service skills Strong attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Adaptability/flexibility and ability to solve problems effectively Strong communication and teamwork skills High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills Strong written, numerical and verbal skills Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access.
