Data Engineer - Open Systems Technologies : Job Details

A financial firm is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team in New York, NY.

Compensation: $150-200k

Responsibilities:

• Build data pipelines
• Work with data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.
• Take vendor data and normalize it for firm consumption

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in financial services
• Strong technology/coding skills (Python)
• Strong design skills to build extensible config/data-driven platforms
• Good Financial data, specifically security master and/or knowledge of vendor datasets
• Strong AWS data pipeline skills
• Strong database skills SQL and no-SQL
• Ability work with datasets in Excel and other productivity tools
