Job title : Data EngineerLocation : Denver, CODuration: 06 months; possible extensions This Data Engineer will be joining the Data Engineering group working on technical mobile applications which is used by their technicians in the field for installations of telecom boxes or pole builds. The application is used on tablets and other mobile devices therefore the goal is to create a more efficient and reliable software for these technicians to consistently use. Ideally this Engineer would be Mid-Level about 5 years within a professional environment as an ETL Developer or Data Engineer and should be an expert in SQL. • Strong communication skills is a must to work within a collaborative functional environment and Agile/Scrum technical environment
• Ideally 5-8 years of hands-on ETL development experience as an ETL Developer/Engineer or a Data Engineer/Developer
• Must be an expert developing/scripting in SQL languages throughout career
• Experience working in an Agile technical environment, going thorough true sprints with Agile SME's and development teams

PLUS SKILLS (PREFERRED NOT NEEDED):

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
• EMR and Lambda familiarity preferred

DATA ENGIENEER RESPONSIBILITES:

• The Data Engineer will support the team undergoing a Database re-architecture project, the Engineer will report to the Sr. Architect, but will work as part of a team of Data Engineers
• The role will involve ETL development using SQL

Familiarity with AWS EMR and Lambda is highly preferred
