**Required Skills:**

Data Engineer, Analytics Responsibilities:

1. Design, model, and implement data warehousing activities to deliver the data foundation that drives impact through informed decision making.

2. Leverage distributed computing technologies and cloud-based infrastructure to process massive datasets efficiently.

3. Build collections of sophisticated data models and visualizations that support multiple use cases across different products or domains.

4. Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs, representing key data insights visually in a meaningful way.

5. Define and manage SLA for all data sets in allocated areas of ownership.

6. Support experimentation, machine learning models, and advanced analytics by providing well-structured and accessible data sources.

7. Determine and implement the security model based on privacy requirements, confirm safeguards are followed, address data quality issues, and evolve governance processes within allocated areas of ownership.

8. Craft ETL workflows and data models to manage structured and unstructured data, ensuring data accuracy, availability, and reliability across various applications and domains.

9. Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts.

10. Influence product and cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities to drive impact.

11. Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

12. Actively contributing to the development of data engineering best practices and leading the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in data processing and analytics.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

13. Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Sciences, or a related field

14. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:

15. 1. Features, design, and use-case scenarios across a big data ecosystem

16. 2. Custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance

17. 3. Object-oriented programming languages

18. 4. Schema design and dimensional data modeling

19. 5. Writing SQL statements

20. 6. Analyzing data to identify deliverables, gaps, and inconsistencies

21. 7. Managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients

22. 8. MapReduce or MPP system

23. 9. Python.

**Public Compensation:**

$182,583/year to $196,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits
