Summary:
The Data Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate entry, verification, and management of data across various systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and documentation skills, along with the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify data from source documents such as checks, sales reports, and invoices using keyboards, scanners, or data entry software.
- Compile, organize, and review data for accuracy before inputting into systems.
- Identify and correct data entry errors or escalate issues to supervisors as needed.
- Perform verification by comparing data against source documents to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain logs, records, and documentation of completed work and daily activities.
Required Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Skilled in documenting and recording customer or client information accurately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Data entry speed and accuracy (testing may be required).
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0–2 years of related experience in data entry or administrative support.
