Data Center PSC Engineer- Remote (anywhere in the USA)

No C2C, only W2 candidates

We are looking for a Data Center PSC Engineer with 7–10 years of hands-on experience in critical facility operations, with a focus on Power, Space, and Cooling (PSC). In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing and approving installation requests in data centers to ensure optimal layout, resource balance, and infrastructure efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review daily network equipment installation requests.
  • Approve/reject requests based on in-depth PSC evaluations.
  • Utilize enterprise-wide tools to manage capacity and layout across multiple data center sites.
  • Optimize data center layouts for airflow, power delivery, and future scalability.
  • Update floor plans, rack layouts, and power assignments regularly.
  • Collaborate with PSC Capacity Engineers and other stakeholders across planning, facilities, and vendor teams.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5–7+ years in data center engineering, critical facilities, or infrastructure roles
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Data center layout optimization (including airflow and rack fragmentation)
  • AC/DC power systems (UPS, PDUs, ATS, switchgear, busways, circuit breakers)
  • HVAC systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, airflow zones)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and DCIM tools (e.g., Sunbird DC Track)
  • Familiarity with structured cabling (fiber and copper)
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • PSC resource forecasting and balancing experience
  • Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master's a plus)
  • Certifications such as:
  • CDCDP, RCDD, PE, EIT, NICET, or HVAC Excellence Certification
