We are currently seeking a Data Center Project Manager to join our expanding TMT (Tech, Media and Telecom) practice. Opportunities are available in multiple locations across the United States, including Atlanta, Austin, Bellevue, Charlotte, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Newark, New York, Omaha, Orlando, Pennington, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, Sacramento/Folsom, San Antonio, and Walnut Creek.

We are looking for a project manager with experience in client development and delivery of data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully managing data center and mission-critical projects from planning through design, construction, and commissioning. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, developing client relationships, and expanding HDR's market presence. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to project management.

• Mentoring/Managing:
  • Help grow a collaborative team environment that promotes career development, high-quality deliverables, and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate work among design teams and mentor staff.
  • Manage project workload and staff recruitment/retention.
• Marketing:
  • Establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Assist in developing proposals and scope of work documents.
  • Represent HDR in client meetings and promote the company's services.
• Technical:
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Lead project teams to successful delivery.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Prepare proposals and assist in interviews.
• Travel to project sites or HDR offices as needed, with prior notice.

• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in site programming, project planning, design, construction, or commissioning.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical projects is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as Uptime Topology, ASHRAE TC 9.9, and PUE, CUE, WUE metrics.
• Experience with project management software like Newforma or ProjectWise is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of related experience, including 2+ years in project management.
