Data Center Physical Security Manager , DC Security Amer-SouthWest

AWS is seeking an experienced Data Center Security Manager with a proven track record in supporting security programs within cleared facilities, program/project management, and comprehensive knowledge of government security processes and requirements.

As a Data Center Security Manager (DSM) at an AWS site, you will oversee multiple security disciplines supporting classified operations, manage projects to protect personnel, information, and infrastructure, and handle onsite security forces. You should be customer-focused, capable of operating independently, managing security projects, and adapting to fast-changing priorities. Strong communication, innovative thinking, and delivering high-quality support are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage physical security operations, develop post orders, and security procedures.
• Handle site incidents, work with security equipment, and participate in construction projects.
• Drive process improvements and vendor management.
• Ensure deployment of security policies, participate in audits, and test new technologies.
• Demonstrate resilient leadership, flexibility, and excellent security knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years managing contract security and physical security operations (Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV).
• 2+ years proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• 2+ years experience in security patrolling and reporting.
• 1+ years in security documentation and reporting.
• 1+ years experience with LENEL or C-cure systems.
• 1+ years experience with trouble ticket systems and performance metrics extraction.
• 2+ years experience with investigations (accidents, thefts, disturbances).
