Align seeks an entrepreneurial AV Professional to join the AV Consulting practice within an established and expanding IT Services Firm. This professional will work on a team of AV Designers and Installers within our Workplace Technology business. The ideal candidate will have a passion to build upon an established and successful AV business. Preferred candidates will have worked in similar roles within an AV Integration, AV Consulting, or Corporate AV environment.

This is a full-time position offering a targeted base salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 (commensurate with experience), performance-based bonuses, medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, paid training, and paid time off. The position will be based out of our New York City office; however, travel to client locations in the New York metropolitan area is required. Some travel outside the tri-state area within the United States (up to 15%) may be necessary.

Responsibilities include:

Core qualifications include 5 to 7+ years of experience designing and implementing corporate AV systems, CTS certification, prior experience in AV Integration or Consulting firms, knowledge of architectural drawings, AV software systems, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Visio, EASE, Q-SYS Designer, strong consultative skills, and a basic understanding of IP networking. Preferred qualifications include Infocomm/Avixa certification, CCNA/CCNP, PE professional engineer or OSHA 30 Hour, knowledge of AV manufacturers such as Crestron and QSC, AV leadership experience, and familiarity with AutoDesk Revit / AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, DTools, and 3D Virtualization Software.
