Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable data acquisition and integration methods
Oversee scientific data quality, cleansing, and correction of data quality issues
Manage reference and master data; define hierarchies, affiliations, and distribution rules
Build and maintain data models (physical & logical), ER diagrams, data dictionaries, and maps
Collaborate with business and technical teams to drive data governance strategies
Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities
Communicate insights clearly and effectively to cross-functional stakeholders
Design and implement data quality management procedures
Translate data requirements into business solutions and vice versa
No more than 4 years experience for this role
Strong experience in data modeling, ER diagram design, and normalization/denormalization
Proficiency with data manipulation tools and BI/data visualization platforms
Programming capabilities (e.g., VBA, Python, XML)
Working knowledge of ETL processes and data integration workflows
Experience managing scientific data
Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies in data environments
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Leadership experience coordinating data deliverables within a project team
Prior experience supporting scientific data initiatives in the beauty, healthcare, or CPG space
Work model: Hybrid must be available for regular onsite meetings in Clark, NJ
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $52.01 to $57.79 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
