In the commercial organization, Tech at Lilly plays a critical role in accelerating and delivering transformative capabilities to bring medicines to Lilly's patients. We are looking for an IT architect with AI, Data, and Technology experience to inform, ideate, and deliver transformative technology solutions to solve pressing and exciting challenges in Lilly USA.
What You Will Do:
Lead the end-to-end implementation of data, AI and technology projects, ensuring best practices and company standards are followed
Externally evaluate and propose new technologies to transform internal initiatives and generate new, innovative ideas
Influence and partner with Enterprise Architecture teams to get new technologies and approaches approved for use
Define and leverage team to execute AI strategy for the organization
Plan and design robust, scalable, and high-performance data architectures and solutions using AWS cloud services
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions (AI, data, system, automation, etc.)
Optimize data processing workflows, data storage, and data retrieval processes for efficiency and performance
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering and data science
Stay up to date with the latest industry technology trends, inclusive of AI, AWS services and features, and evaluate their potential impact on current and future projects
Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across all AI, data, and technology solutions
Document architectural designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures
Partner with and influence vendor resources on solution development to ensure understanding of data and technical direction for solutions
Ensure successful transition of applications to service management team through planning and knowledge transfer
Technically assess new use cases and determine best way to deliver them by evaluating internal and external solutions
Your Basic Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information or related technical or scientific field
At least 5+ years of Information Technology experience in the following areas:
AI application, leadership and implementation
AWS environment (S3, EC2 Athena, Redshift), its methodologies and processes

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$123,000 - $180,400Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
