Job Description :

This position tracks, organizes and analyzes data to provide actionable insights regarding the disabilities and innovation grant strategic goals, completes various reports and data files, and monitors the budget and purchases related to the grant.

Essential Duties

The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position.

  • Extracts, organizes and compiles data into various reports required by federal agencies, local education agencies and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Verifies the accuracy and relevance of data, including identifying questionable data, accessing data from the college's database, following up with other departments for corrections to be made, and ensuring data privacy and security compliance
  • Creates charts, infographics and presentations for use in presentations, workshops, and assessment and grant reports
  • Monitors the grant budget, timeline and activities for compliance with program requirements and Federal regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate degree
  • Three years of experience in data analysis, data mining or a related role
  • Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports and presentations
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word and PowerPoint (or other presentation software), verbal and written communication, human relations and analytical skills
  • Ability to demonstrate trustworthiness, to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
    • A Bachelor's degree
    • Project or grant management experience
    • Experience with data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, SPSS or SAS
Supplemental Information

This part-time support staff position is grant-funded and non-standard and does not include benefits. The starting hourly rate for this position will likely range from $22.92 to $28.10 depending on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience as well as grant specifications.
