About The Role

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive change? We are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer (DAE) to join our team, transforming complex clinical data from systems like Epic EHR into actionable insights. You will design, develop, and deploy data solutions, build our data warehouse, and champion data governance. Join us and make a difference!

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Integration & Management:
    • Design and manage data pipelines from Epic and other systems.
    • Clean, transform, and ensure data integrity.
    • Collaborate to understand data needs and create models.
    • Support Epic reporting and develop custom reports.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Create dashboards and reports with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
    • Analyze data for trends and improvements.
    • Develop predictive models for patient care and resource optimization.
    • Ensure data on patient outcomes and treatments is accessible.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work with infrastructure and data stewards to ensure data flow.
    • Support stakeholders with data-driven insights.
    • Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on new data technologies.
    • Propose and implement process improvements.
    • Support external reporting and compliance.

Work Schedule

Full-time, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in data analytics and database engineering.
  • 2+ years in healthcare revenue cycle data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerQuery, SQL, and Epic reporting tools like Cogito, SlicerDicer, Clarity.
  • Epic Cogito Admin certification required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, STIs, TGNB care, and prevention strategies.
