Job Title: Data Analyst Duration: 17 months Description of Services The Engineering Solutions Applications group supports project delivery and reporting through consultation, development, testing, and implementation of system applications and workflows. The group maintains and supports various Engineering Department platforms and acts as the department's liaison with the Technology Department.cThe client's Engineering Department is in the process of implementing a new project management information system (PDS) using the Kahua PMIS platform. The goal is to better connect ENG and streamline work by leveraging technology for project planning, design, construction management services, and asset management, The Engineering Solutions Unit is seeking an individual with extensive data management experience to assist with the integration of the Kahua PMIS Platform to centralize the project data within a complex system's architecture, facilitating continued data exchanges, empowering advanced analytics and real-time data processing capabilities, while adhering to strict data security guidelines. Must have extensive experience with systems inventory, systems integration, data migration, data mapping, and data governance, security, and compliance. Consultant Services Services to be performed by the candidate may include, but shall not be limited to, the following:

• Assist in the technical designs, system configuration, data integration, and data migration requirements for the PA Engineering department.
• Assist in the review, planning, defining, and documenting the data analysis, data mapping, future data and technical design, systems integration, data migration, and reporting and analytics.
• Conduct a full data inventory assessment to help identify, collect, and analyze data from various sources within the existing project systems using common data analysis tools.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to assess and interpret the quality of the data.
• Create and design data models and provide interpretations of data analysis.
• Experience in data cleansing and maintenance of historical data.
• Assist system architects, technical support teams, and 3rd party vendors in the system design, data migration tools, data migration execution, support, governance, and security.
• Assist technical support teams in the preparation of data migration. Manage and validate the results of data migration.
• Work with system architects, technical, and 3rd party vendors in the system design.
• Establish boundaries of data migration, standardized data and mapping requirements, and data cleansing and metadata augmentation.
• Present results of findings in presentations, charts, graphs, and reports.
• Experience in using common data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Assist users in the revision, development, and deployment of new reports and dashboards.
• Provide technical & functional support for enterprise and systems engineers.
• Support end-users & technical support teams in UAT, Pilot, & Go-Live.

Education, Qualifications, and ExperienceRequired Education, Technical Qualifications, and Experience a. Must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related technical field. b. Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in data management, data analysis, and data migration. c. Experience in data visualization and design, and developing reports and dashboards, using related tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and SQL. d. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Required Soft Skills a. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities. b. Ability to work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff. c. Excellent oral, written, communication, and presentation skills. d. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. e. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with various stakeholders. Preferred Technical Qualifications and Experience Below are preferred technical qualifications and experience but not required. a. Advanced degrees are highly desirable. b. Extensive experience working with process reengineering projects pertaining to workflows, systems configuration, and systems integration. c. Experience working in the construction and engineering industry. d. Experience working with the Kahua construction management application. e. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development environment. f. Some exposure or knowledge of SaaS-based cloud environments, network, cybersecurity protocol, and systems integration.
