Data Analyst - Abacus : Job Details

Data Analyst - One resume Job detials: We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst to support the Resource Management Office at David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB. This is a full-time, on-site role. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and present data dashboards and monthly performance reports to executive leadership.
• Analyze clinical and administrative datasets using DHA platforms (e.g., DOD M2, GENESIS).
• Deliver data snapshots within 3 business days of request (max 5 per business day).
• Present monthly business plan briefings to senior leadership (≤30 minutes).
• Conduct audits and prepare Business Case Analyses (BCA) and ROI reports (1/month).
• Design and implement metrics for evaluating policy impacts, optimization efforts, and market analyses.
• Provide ongoing support for DHA Business Performance Plan (BPP).
• Attend and support sanctioned DHA optimization projects.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DHA, DoD, and MTF standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Systems, or equivalent civilian health data systems.
• Proven experience with:
  • MHS GENESIS, DOD M2, and MIIS data sources
  • Business Intelligence tools: Power BI or Tableau
  • MEPRS, DMHRSi, and healthcare resource management
• Strong understanding of:
  • Clinical productivity and healthcare optimization
  • Federal healthcare reimbursement models (e.g., RVUs, RWP, PPS)
  • Data visualization and performance metrics development
• Proficient in creating technical reports, presentations, and decision support tools.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications & Compliance:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Certification (must be current)
• Must complete (upon hire and annually):
  • HIPAA, AF Computer Security, Information Assurance, and MTF onboarding
• Must pass background check (Tier 3 investigation) and fingerprinting
• Must comply with DHA security, data privacy, and confidentiality policies
