Summary:

Responsible for analyzing data, developing reports, and delivering insights to support decision-making across the organization. This position supports the bank's growing need for timely, accurate, and actionable data through structured reporting, business intelligence tools, and cross-department collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve, clean, and transform data from Snowflake and other data sources.
  • Analyze operational, financial, and customer data to uncover trends, identify outliers, and support strategic planning.
  • Work closely with departments to gather reporting requirements, validate results, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Monitor data pipelines and perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Create documentation for data processes, report logic, and data definitions to ensure transparency and repeatability.
  • Collaborate with IT and system owners to enhance data accessibility, streamline reporting processes, and develop centralized data models.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting tasks and improve analytical workflows.
  • Maintain compliance with bank policies, data governance standards, and applicable regulations related to data privacy and integrity.
  • Assist with internal and external IT audits by preparing documentation, demonstrating application controls, and ensuring developed tools meet compliance requirements.
  • Assist supervisor in all other duties as assigned.

    • Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
    • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting role preferred
    • Proficient in SQL; experience with Snowflake, Power BI, or similar BI platforms
    • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL, and dashboard design best practices
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
    • Experience working with sensitive or regulated data sets is a plus
