Job Description :

Willdan Lighting and Electric (WLE), a subsidiary of Willdan, is seeking a Data Analyst to support strategic and operational decision-making by gathering, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing program data. This role ensures that program performance, building metrics, and equity impacts are clearly understood and communicated to drive internal improvements and inform external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and committed to using data for continuous improvement.Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dashboards to track project pipelines, stakeholder engagement, and equity outcomes.
  • Clean, validate, and organize building- and program-level data from multiple systems.
  • Analyze patterns in building type, project type, emissions reductions, and program uptake.
  • Develop new metrics to monitor community engagement and market transformation.
  • Translate complex data into accessible visuals and actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Support regular reporting to MOCEJ and internal leadership.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency in coordination with the platform and systems team.
  • Provide support to program staff to improve data quality and usage.
  • Identify trends and recommend strategies to enhance program efficiency and impact.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive work environment focused on learning and innovation.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, environmental science, statistics, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and public-sector datasets preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and VBA (e.g., macros).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong individual and team contributor.
  • Passion for using data to support climate action and equity.
  • Knowledge of building science, energy efficiency, or construction trades a plus.
