Position: Data Analyst

Location: Remote (Must reside in NY/NJ/CT)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Compensation: $77,506 - $87,195 annual salary

Summary: The Data Analyst will work with VillageCareMAX team members to provide information and analytical insight to drive business decisions and performance and quality improvements. This role will be on the Strategy & Analytics team which is responsible for analytics throughout the organization and informing the design of our new data warehouse to support ongoing analytics.

Essential Job Functions:

• Compiles, analyzes and interprets varied and complex data (including healthcare and financial data) to support business operations.
• Develops and maintains customized reports and dashboards for the VCMAX programs using SQL and Tableau
• Collaborates with team members & Data Engineering to identify data infrastructure needs for ongoing reporting requirements.
• Manages ongoing reporting requirements to ensure timely and accurate monitoring of the program.
• Works closely with all levels of business users to clearly define reporting requirements in support of strategic decision making. This includes standard reports, ad-hoc analysis, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Collaborates with VillageCare IT department to automate data extracts to our vendors and external partners.
• Utilizes various software tools and identifies the best format to present and communicate data to provide clear, concise and easy-to-understand information.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities and participate in special projects to improve productivity and quality performance of VillageCareMax
• Ensures Data Governance policies and procedures are adapted, followed and implemented into daily work.
• Participates and implements the prioritization process into daily tasks.

Qualifications & Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or other relevant field required. Having a master's degree in a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years' experience in business intelligence and analytics performing increasingly complex data analysis and report/dashboard development, preferably in a health care setting
• Ability to run complex queries, manipulate, transform, and generate reports using SQL and Tableau
• Experience with healthcare data (Pharmacy, Claims, Care Management, Quality, etc.) and
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate working with teammates within the department and cross-functionally.
