Position: Lead Data Engineer – Research Data

Duration: 6 month C2H

Schedule: M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm EST

Worksite: hybrid - work from home 4 days/ week, in office on Tuesdays

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL

PR: $50-$64

Must Haves:

• 8-10+ years of experience in data (Data Analyst, Data Engineer)
• Lead or Senior experience
• Extensive experience writing SQL Queries
• Snowflake
• ETL / ELT
• Pipeline creation (Azure Data Factory Preferred)
• Data warehousing and data lake experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Business or Engineering.
• Healthcare experience (Clinical Data preferred)
• EMR System Experience (Epic Preferred)

Day to Day:

Responsible for developing and maintaining assets for genomics and research projects. Work with ETL, ABD, Snowflake, and source data from EMR systems. Tasks include constructing and optimizing data pipelines for efficient data processing, managing distributed data environments, including staging, cleansing, and transformation, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the pipeline. Mornings are dedicated to collecting and analyzing data, managing and prioritizing backlog tasks effectively. Handle clinical data, including observations, lab results, and medication administration records, ensuring compliance with clinical data standards and regulations. Lead a small team of 3, interact with 25+ teams within the organization.
