Responsibilities
Plan and manage delivery of large-scale projects involving dam, levee, stormwater management, and related assessments and designs.Coordinate staffing, workload, and ensure project deliverables meet schedule and budget.Manage project financials, conduct reviews, and implement QA/QC procedures.Provide technical support on dam and levee safety, assessments, and risk evaluations.Develop and review cost estimates, design drawings, and technical reports.Maintain client relationships, participate in marketing, and lead proposal development.Mentor staff and oversee various project types including planning, design, and construction management.Coordinate multidisciplinary project efforts and ensure quality standards.Perform other duties as needed.QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's in Engineering, with 7+ years related experience and at least 2 years in project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; Access is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills and commitment to our inclusive, employee-owned culture.
Preferred
- Master's degree.
- Experience managing large, multidisciplinary dam, levee, and stormwater projects.
- Expertise in geotechnical, hydrology/hydraulics, structural, or civil engineering.
- Business development experience and local candidates preferred.
Additional Information
Location options include Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, Wilmington, and Asheville, NC. This is a full-time, regular position within our Water industry sector.
