Responsibilities Purpose Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through proper cycle counting, processing of material reports and transfers within the RINY on site warehouse and all outside warehouses. All inventory locations must be counted and reconciled at the end of each quarter. Primary Job Functions Active asset promoter of EHS and all site 5S programs, ensuring all tasks are performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures. Acts as a frontline leader in all safety and environmental activities on designated asset(s) Cycle Counting - Each location should be counted as per schedule, including off-site warehouses. Create and distribute cycle count performance reports to the staff Research root causes for count discrepancies and help implement corrective actions Help establish guidelines on how material is put-a-away and rotated in the warehouse in order to promote FIFO While performing counts, fix material/area which is not limited to replace broken skids, cover the material, pick up garbage around the material and any other actions to ensure the safeguard of people and the inventory. At a minimum, report one safety near miss and observation weekly Participate on the 5S squad and help with 5S throughout the plant by picking up garbage and by giving ideas on areas that can be cleaned and/or organized. Other relevant duties can be assigned as needed. Qualifications Education, Experience, Skills HS Diploma or equivalent, 2 years of related manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledgeable of JDEdwards Inventory functions is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and Outlook. Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task. Must have experience operating a forklift and a pallet jack. Be self-motived and work under minimum supervision. Must be fluent in English and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual is a plus.
