SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Cybersecurity Penetration Test Operator. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Job Summary: SEACORP's Tactical Solutions Business Area is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Penetration Test Operator. The Cybersecurity Penetration Test Operator performsassessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclaveand identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptableconfigurations, enclave policy, or local policy. They will also measure effectiveness ofdefense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities. Job Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze the cyber configurations of systems under test and evaluate vulnerabilities.
- Maintain cyber toolkit (e.g., specialized cyber software and hardware) to support cyber penetration testing.
- Maintain knowledge of cyber policies, regulations, and compliance documents specifically related to cyber testing.
- Perform technical (evaluation of technology) and non-technical (evaluation of operations) risk and vulnerability assessments on systems under test (e.g., local computing environment, network and infrastructure, enclave boundary, supporting infrastructure, and applications).
- Prepare reports that identify technical and procedural findings and provide recommended mitigation/remediation recommendations.
- Conduct application vulnerability assessments.
- Perform vulnerability scanning and recognizing vulnerabilities in security systems.
Qualifications:Education: A Bachelor of Science degreewith a Major in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, DataScience, Information Systems, or Computer Science. Degree MUSTbe from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), or Centerof Academic Excellence (CAE) designated institution to fulfill the educationalrequirement. Candidate must also have CEH, GCIH,GICSP, OWASP, GCIA, and/or CCNA Cyber Ops (formerly SCYBER) certifications. Candidates with Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP and OSCP+) certifications will also be considered. Experience: 1 year of relevant experience. Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies.
- Cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
- Experience with risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
- Penetration testing principles, tools, and techniques.
- System and application security threats and vulnerabilities (e.g., buffer overflow, mobile code, cross-site scripting, Procedural Language/Structured Query Language [PL/SQL] and injections, race conditions, covert channel, replay, return-oriented attacks, malicious code).
- Use of penetration testing tools and techniques.
- Use of network analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities.
