Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Reporting & Communications Consultant to work from our Charlotte office approximately 1 day per week, with occasional flexibility based on business needs. Our office is located at the Charlotte Railyard (1414 S. Tryon St., Charlotte, NC 28203). Qualified candidates outside Charlotte may be considered for remote work.

As a Cybersecurity Executive Reporting & Communications Consultant, you will support executive reporting, communications, metrics, and strategy. Your role involves creating clear, concise executive materials on the cybersecurity program for presentation to various audiences, including the Allstate Board of Directors, VPs/SVPs/EVPs, Risk Management Committees, Regulatory Compliance Committees, and other departments. You will also support internal communications to promote understanding of work efforts, accomplishments, and innovations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and refine reports on critical cybersecurity initiatives, performance metrics, risks, threats, and remediation activities, aligning organizational change with broader business objectives.
  • Design and implement communication and project plans.
  • Present complex cybersecurity topics to senior management using various communication platforms.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and objectives, quickly assess issues, and facilitate quick resolutions.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
  • Gather feedback from senior leadership and facilitate review meetings.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes for efficiency and impact.
  • Analyze and support cybersecurity strategy, solution planning, and execution.
  • Build strategic partnerships with AIS leaders and team members.
  • Ensure reports comply with AIS Information Security Controls, Policies, and Standards.
  • Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in executive-level reporting and communications, preferably in cybersecurity or IT.
  • Broad knowledge of cybersecurity and technical terminology.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment managing technology or business services at scale.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Experience in meeting facilitation, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to connect cybersecurity efforts with business goals in understandable terms.
  • Self-motivated, able to work in fast-paced, complex organizations.
  • Understanding of security challenges, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills for technical and data-driven decision-making.
  • Relevant education and/or industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CISA, CISSP, CISM) preferred.

    Compensation

    Annual salary ranges from $95,700 to $170,925, based on experience and qualifications.

    The selected candidate will be required to undergo a background check.
