RMC is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer, Senior to support services we provide to the Enterprise Systems (ES) Department of the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Service Centers in Charleston, SC. This support will be primarily for the Data Center and Cloud Hosting Services (DC2HS) Division. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and support cyber security solutions.

• Manage system and network vulnerabilities.
• Conduct risk assessment of existing systems and provide recommendations for secure solutions.
• Keep up to date on cyber security threats and how to thwart them.
• Handle moderately complex issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

• At least ten (10) years of notable experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, including Assessment and Authorization requirements. Experience may include planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network; assessing vulnerabilities and proposing remediation strategies; ensuring security controls are in place; and responding to security breaches.
• Three (3) years of technical support experience in an enterprise hosting environment, either on-premises or in the cloud, supporting interconnected systems and managed services.
• Notable experience supervising and mentoring lesser experienced personnel.
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent.
• At least one (1) of the following IAT Level II certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CASP, or CISSP.
• Must meet latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training requirements per DoD 8570.1M and DoD 8140 manual.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required to start; candidate may be subject to security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
