Cybersecurity Engineer - Active Top Secret Clearance

Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Selected candidate is eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of $4,000.00.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity operations, including managing personnel, applications, and appliances to defend the cyber terrain.
• Firewall management.
• Host intrusion detection/prevention systems management.
• Security information and event management (SIEM), e.g., audit log review and analysis.
• Vulnerability scanning.
• Incident response.
• Technical analysis and troubleshooting assistance.
• Support agency project tracking with the integrated master schedule.
• Present project updates to the agency change boards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation and Certification

• Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field, or 4-7 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Certification at IAT or IAM level III (e.g., CASP, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, CISM).

Skills and Experience

• Deep knowledge of systems engineering, security operations, incident response, user behavior analytics, and personnel management.

Non-negotiable Requirements

• PowerShell and Bash scripting experience.
• Networking and firewall configuration skills.
• Authentication setup experience.
• DNS/IP configuration knowledge.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with EPO/Trellix/ESS, Tenable/ACAS/Nessus, and Splunk Enterprise.
