Overview:

INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to provide Advisory and Assistance Services supporting the 557th Weather Wing's (WW) Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) efforts. This role focuses on planning, implementing, and monitoring the Wing's cybersecurity posture in alignment with Air Force and DoD standards, including application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), threat detection, and remediation efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, implement, and validate all applicable STIGs for assigned systems.
• Conduct testing and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable DoD and Air Force cybersecurity requirements.
• Monitor quarterly revalidation schedules and emerging STIG updates.
• Develop and maintain a Cybersecurity Compliance Dashboard, track STIG status, POA&Ms, and risk trends.
• Conduct quarterly mini-CORAs (self-assessments) to evaluate cybersecurity readiness.
• Support meetings, briefings, and collaboration with 557 WW leadership and stakeholders.
• Assist in developing implementation plans for cloud environment transitions.
• Conduct risk analysis and threat hunting activities to enhance cyber defenses.

Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Air Force or industry cybersecurity standards and system accreditation, or equivalent NIST experience.
• Experience with:
  • Endpoint Security
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Threat Hunting & Risk Analysis
  • Intrusion Detection Systems
  • DISA STIGs
  • Cyber Incident Response
• Possess two or more of the following certifications (or +3 years' experience in lieu per certification): CISSP, CASP+, Security+, CISM, EC CISO, CEH, Pentest+, CYSA+, ICS2 CC, Kubernetes (MK100/CKAD/CKS/DKP), ACAS, GCIH, GISP, A+, ITIL v3/v4, Forescout, CCNA, Linux+.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail for managing schedules, taskings, and documentation.
• US Air Force or Military Service is a plus.
